A difficult winter

I have been extremely poor at blogging. I just hope I will be better in 2012.

Last years growing season was amazing. I tried to keep an up to date excel sheet of the amount of chillies my plants produced. The total of fruits was well over 100, maybe even close to 200.

My best producer was by far was my single Apache plant. I counted 80 chillies from this incredible plant.

Unfortunately towards the end of the growing season I noticed small bugs on the leaves of the plants. Coupled with the winter, these two factors finished off a lot of my plants. To my annoyance I have had to dispose of a majority of my plants.

In my room now I am left with five plants. The plants that have survived are my Habanero, Apache, one of the Bulgarian Carrots and two of my plants grown from Supermarket Chilli seeds.

Soon it will be time for planting new seeds which I am very excited about. I plan to grow fewer plants and varieties this year.
